Spartans shutdown Tar Heels, great defense, turnovers major problem

The Spartans came out with a great defensive effort and behind the hot hand of Joshua Langford who finished with 23 points a career night for the Spartan guard. The Tar Heels were held to 24.60% shooting from the field, while also only being held to one made three-pointer by Joel berry before the half. The Tar Heels had a solid effort out of Theo Pinson who scored 16. A great win for the team but the 24 turnovers is a really major problem, and I am sure coach Izzo is extremely pissed at the way his team seems to not be able to take care of the basketball. The Spartans will be bringing a championship back home to East Lansing, as they took care of the Tar Heels on their way to the PK80 Invite Victory Bracket Championship. Cassius Winston was named MVP for the Victory bracket after going for 44 pts, 15 rbs, and 20 ast for the tourney.
