Spartans fight to the finish;Defeat Southern Utah 88-63

The Spartans pulled in their ninth win of the season. Behind double-double efforts of Miles Bridges and Jaren Jackson. Nick Ward also scored 17 points while also taking the first three-point shot of his career and somehow sinking it as the shot clock went off. In what would make many people heads turn if they saw it.

The Thunderbirds of Southern Utah fought in this game even getting within seven points in the second half because of their crazy contested three-point shots that found the basket.

Cassius Winston continued his three-point barrage as he went 5-6 from beyond the arc to finish with 15 points. Gavin Schilling finished with 6 points off the bench along with five from Matt McQuaid.
